I recently started playing Gamma World, which is basically D&D in a future wasteland setting. This is my character, Cake (no relation to Natasha Allegri’s Cake of Fionna and Cake fame), a humanoid feline who carries a huge Cake Slicer and uses Stale Cookies as throwing stars. Oh, and did I mention she’s telepathic? Cause she is.

She got eaten by a huge, radioactive candy monster on her first adventure! Luckily, she got out when her friends destroyed it. She’s probably STILL licking herself clean.

Yesterday, I was tasked by Fangamer to turn videogame characters into hipsters for a free shipping event they’re holding (hence, the Shipster Sale). It was tough, but I think I did okay, and it was super fun to boot! You can see the newsletter (along with some of the awesome stuff those dudes have for sale) here!

Up top is Ness and Mario, and along the bottom are Mega Man, Snake, Link, Samus and Crono.

It’s getting close to Jailbird time!

For those of you not in the know (I’ve gotten a lot of new followers since I last posted about it! Hello!), Jailbird is a webcomic I’ve been working on for a while now. It focuses on Jailbird (far left), a recently escaped prisoner who has stumbled upon a strange magic cape. The others are Duck, a travelling scholar, and the Harpies: Owl, Hummingbird and Osprey.

I’m aiming to debut it sometime next month, but in the meantime, I want to get this Tumblr going with related stuff! I don’t want to get *too* spoliery, but I’ll even answer any questions you might have about the characters and their world!

Also, I was thinking about buying jailbir.de for the URL. I like it, but is that e at the end stupid

i will read the heck out of your webcomic, these designs are so much fun!
